In my annual tradition of previewing the upcoming college basketball season, I put together various predictions, naturally including a ranking. But I don’t do a top 25. Last year I found 33 teams that deserved a rank. This year it’s only 22. But that doesn’t mean it’s less of a year. There is extreme talent at the top and a lot of parity deep into many conferences.
